Process design and engineering
Takenaka is an expert in process design, modeling & simulation, and process integration for pharmaceutical, fine chemicals, food, bio, pulp/paper, fuels, advanced materials, automotive, and water treatment processes.

Process simulations
Takenaka Industrial Services has a high level of expertise in simulations of processes for bulk chemicals, specialty chemicals, and pharmaceutical industries.
Takenaka Industrial Services provides powerful modeling using the best-in-class simulation software to enable (new) process design, process scale-up, optimization of throughput performance, product quality, and energy use in processes with batch and continuous operations.

Piping design and engineering
Takenaka’s piping designers have in-depth knowledge of material properties. They design and model the piping structure using state-of-the-art software and consider and analyze factors like stress, flowing material properties, material quality, properties & life span related to medium, temperature, and pressure.

3-D engineering
Takenaka uses state-of-the-art 3D engineering tools for designing and engineering all its pilot, demo, and commercial plants, process equipment, and machines. Using engineering software like inventor, plant 3D, and solid works, Takenaka enables the customer to verify the set-up of the equipment, piping, and machines as well as the integration into the existing infrastructure.

Processing equipment design and engineering
Takenaka provides engineering services for designing, validating, and manufacturing industrial processing equipment for food, beverage, chemical, bio, and pharma processes.

Electrical Engineering
Takenaka provides engineering services for low and medium-voltage electrical systems. Our services include the design of electrical control panels, power distribution panels, and electrical distribution systems for both industrial applications and utility systems.

Manufacturing Automation
Manufacturing automation engineering is designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems in manufacturing plants. Takenaka’s automation engineers work in the automotive, energy, food, beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields.

Measurement and control
Takenaka Industrial Services is an expert in designing effective and cost-efficient systems to monitor your manufacturing processes.

Mechanical and mechatronic engineering
Our mechanical engineers design, develop, build, and test mechanical and thermal devices, including tools, machines, and electromechanical assemblies.

Computer Aided Engineering
Takenaka Industrial Services has a team highly experienced in computer-aided engineering (CAE). It includes finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multibody dynamics (MDB), durability, and optimization. CAE tools determine critical structural parameters of process equipment and machines and simulate the mixing behavior of various media and media systems in reactors and stirred vessels.

Modular Construction
Takenaka Industrial Services provides modular construction services from our workshop located in the Netherlands. Skid-mounted modular systems are designed and built for pilot plants, demo plants, commercial processing plants, and applications in commercial buildings. Takenaka Industrial services have the multi-disciplinary services and shop fabrication capabilities you need.

Takenaka Industrial Services offers piping system solutions from design and prefabrication to installation and modification on-site as per ASME and EN norms. We supply pipe spools such as carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel for the food & beverage, biotech, pharmaceutical, power, oil, and chemical industries. Our modern machine park and well-trained, highly qualified welding experts enable us to deliver high-quality piping system solutions.
